How To Lose Pounds By Creating Habits

Today we are going to walk through the benefits of eating raw fruits and vegetables and why you should make it a habit to eat them often.
  1. The first habit we will discuss is called the addition rule, which is essentially just the addition of an uncooked natural fruit or vegetable to your meals. When you eat raw food there are digestive enzymes naturally present that will help break down foods

  2. You want a diet high in fiber and there is no better source of fiber than uncooked fruits and vegetables. When you est fiber, it expands inside you allowing you to feel full, which helps you avoid overeating.

  3. Just as with water intake, when you eat fiber it helps push the unwanted waste through your body.

  4. Uncooked fruits and vegetables contain natural vitamins and minerals.
Tip: If you are eating foods that contain fiber and you also want to add a food that contains carbs, make sure your eat the fiber food first. There are two reasons for this:
  1. Your body prepares your digestive system for the carbs it is about to take on by clearing a path for itself.
  2. When you eat the fiber first, you won't be able to eat as much because the fiber food will cause to feel like you are full faster, allowing you to eat less food.
So just remember, if you want to chow down on a pasta dish, make sure you eat something green or raw first, like a salad for example. This will go a long way in helping to manage your diet.
You want to make sure you are taking in about 40 grams of fiber per day. In fact, there are cases where people changed nothing at all about their diet and still managed to lose weight because of this simple rule. 40 grams of fiber goes a long way!
